Barrister

Ashleigh graduated with a degree in Law with Business from the University of Birmingham. She was Called to the Bar in 2017 and joined Chambers following successful completion of her Pupillage under the Supervision of Stacy Payne (who now sits as a District Judge) and Chris McGeever.

During Pupillage, Ashleigh obtained experience in all of Chambers' core practice areas including consumer credit, debt recovery, contractual disputes, financial services, insolvency, housing and personal injury.

Ashleigh previously worked as a County Court Advocate for LPC Law, having attended over 2,000 hearings in that role. Prior to her career at the Bar, she worked in the optical manufacturing sector as part of a family business, wherein a focus on customer satisfaction was essential.

Ashleigh is highly experienced in representing consumer finance lenders, particularly at interim and final hearings for claims arising from commission-based sales models. She is regularly instructed by major banks and financial institutions and has a successful track record in arguments pertaining to limitation, compromise, liability, quantum and costs.

Ashleigh also frequently receives personal injury instructions, both for advisory work as well as for attendance at final and interim hearings.

She adopts a personable approach to her clients, striving always to provide exceptional client care. Ashleigh has been commended by clients for her provision of services promptly and at short notice.
