Michael Javaherian

Barrister

Michael is a consultant to 25 Canada Square Chambers, appointed to the board to provide advisory services on business governance and strategy. He was instrumental in setting up 25CSC and is currently head of its AETO provision (pupillage).

Michael’s legal practice started with civil court advocacy, specialising in housing, personal injury and insolvency. He subsequently became involved with the management of a nationwide advocacy service law firm, at which time he cross qualified as a solicitor-advocate and later became Partner.

Michael was elected Vice Chair of the Civil Court Users Association (2020-22) where he interacted with senior levels of the Judiciary, HMCTS and MOJ working to maintain an effective civil court service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michael is also currently a visiting lecturer at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, and he sits as a fee-paid civil and financial remedy judge in the County & Family Courts in London, Sussex and Kent.
