Michael Javaherian

Overview

Barrister

Michael read law at university and was called to the bar, whereafter his civil legal practice began in the county courts, specialising in housing, personal injury and insolvency.

For over 10 years, he was a central figure of the management team at LPC Law, at which time he cross qualified as a solicitor-advocate and later became Partner.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was elected Vice Chair of the Civil Court Users Association, where he collaborated with the Ministry of Justice, HM Courts & Tribunals Service and members of the senior judiciary to ensure an effective civil court service for all.

Michael was instrumental in establishing 25 Canada Square Chambers and obtaining its AETO status (pupillage provider) with the BSB. As a consultant to 25CSC, he now provides advice on governance and strategy.

Michael is also currently a visiting lecturer at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, and he sits as a fee-paid civil and financial remedy judge in the County & Family Courts in London, Sussex and Kent.
